Leopard chasing dog locked in bathroom

The leopard population in india is increasingly rapidly, and they venture into villages, towns and cities searching for dogs and other animals to eat.
In a case which was reported in the mainstream media, a leopard chasing a pet dog entered the house in Ratnagiri.
When the home owner, tried to find the cause of the commotion, he found that the dog and the leopard were in the bathroom and locked the bathroom.
The home owner then called the forestry department officials, who then rescued the leopard and released the leopard in the wild
The dog was injured, and the home owner had to take care of his injured dog.

Leopard kills two children in nasik

Increasingly leopards are killing children especially small children and older people.
According to a media report, in September a leopard killed a two year old toddler in Nashik.
Earlier in September, a ten year old boy was killed in Sinnar area of nasik.
In August the media reported that a young boy and an elderly 65 year old woman was also killed in nashik by leopards.
